A very quick and simple entry for the Illustration Friday theme of 'Contained'. The illustration style and image layout is aped from a cover for a BBC collection of dramatised Sherlock Holmes adventures (Illustrated by Michael Frith). It was fun to just very quickly do this in about 15 minutes, the energy of being very loose and fast with the medium is good fun.
Very beautiful watecolor!I enjoyed also the other artworks you have done.I must say I have a big''weakness''for watercolor as medium to use in art,and your work look really great!

Very mysterious... I wonder if Watson actually understood what Smudge Holmes was saying. Lovely painting with just the right amount left to the imagination. You have a gift for knowing when to stop and how to send energy into your work.
